Tournament Conditions & Guidelines
- The tournament will be conducted under the rules of tennis and the code of conduct approved by Tennis Australia. The committee shall have the entire management of the Tournament and make alterations it considers necessary.
- Entry fees are required at the time of entry. Refunds cannot be given for withdrawals after draw processing has begun.
- A timetable will be available on the Tennis Australia Tournaments web site one or two days prior to the start. The players in the first match of a round-robin group must be available 10 minutes prior to start time . All other players in the group must then be ready to play immediately the previous match is finished until all matches for the group are completed.
- Sensible tennis attire must be worn including suitable tennis shoes for grass courts.
- The Tournament Committee reserves the right to re-grade a player at any time, or to vary the length of matches to fit the schedule, or to cancel or make alterations where events have insufficient entries.
- Previous year's winners are expected to enter a higher grade.
- Open Singles (Elimination): to be the best of 3 sets (match tie-break prior to semi-finals). Standard would be approximately equivalent to Melbourne pennant 3 and above. There will be a cap on entries. Some wild-card places may be reserved.
All other events (Round-Robin): 6 game sets, tie-break at 5 all, except 10 & under. They will play 4 game sets, tie-break at 3 all.
We plan to have 4 players to a round-robin group (3 sets each), however some groups will end up with either 3 or 5 players (2 sets or 4 sets each). The winners of groups in each grade will play off in an elimination event. These playoffs will be played into the evening on the first two days.
EVENT LIMITS, RESTRICTIONS & TIMES
- You may enter a maximum of one singles, one doubles and one mixed doubles. Junior players may enter Junior or Senior events, but the above restrictions still apply.
- Open and A grade standard players may not enter Veterans events.
- SINGLES: Will be played on Day 1. OPEN singles to QF. Semi-final on days 2, Final on day 3.
DOUBLES: Will be played on Day 2.
MIXED DOUBLES: Days 2 & 3. Some matches are planned for Day 2. The group playoffs should finish on Day 3 by early to mid afternoon.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
- Juniors: Age is taken at the 31st January. Veterans: Must be 45 by the 31st January.

- Please notify us as early as possible of any withdrawals, entry anomalies or timetable issues.
- A list of entries received to date will be published on the web site from week two in January.
FEES
- OPEN Singles: $50
- Other Senior Singles Events: $30
- All Senior Doubles Events: $30 each
- Junior Singles Events: $15
- Junior Doubles Events: $15 each
